Battrick - OD Match 12

* ORM *

Still Loves Emma Bunton. Roy McDonough is God!
Unusual for me to start a thread off but I have a rare chance of an FC victory tomorrow - sixth plays seventh (me) and it'll give me something to look at on the phone during the next three days.

Playing away on a hard and fast pitch so one of my trainee spinners is being used. Shouldn't really bother as he's only fresh but he won't play again in any games this season and I'm not risking the star all rounder. I've not selected the strongest bowling line up in the world (saving most of them for OD) but the opps don't seem to mix it about too much so fingers crossed. Batting wise I've selected somewhere close to a first team line up so we'll see how the match unfolds.

Playing 2nd from bottom, who tends to put out rubbish sides in FC, but has the capacity to pick a Sensational Top Order. I'm pretty weak, with no Evelyn, Schoeman, Middleton or O'connor. If he plays a weak team it will be a good game but I should win, if he puts out his best, I'll get hammered. If I do lose, I'll almost certainly be relegated.

Wolfmen v BATTY SHRIMPERS

We can tell you that BATTY SHRIMPERS won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this partially cloud day.

Oppo has picked his strongest side by the looks of it, bugger !

DIBS DIPPERS v Aylesbury

We can tell you that DIBS DIPPERS won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking quite cracked! A field day for the seam bowlers I would reckon on this sunny day.

Easy win on the cards for me but need to make it last at least 2 days, as im at home and have thus, batted first!

Kev

playing Eddsup away- a quality team but with poor PFL management, their manager only seems to log on every couple of weeks. they tend to bat forever in an attempt to draw their FC games. got rid of their 90k/50k rated openers, but the two guys in now are still good and a lot fitter. Bowling wise, they've got a 30k spinner, and knackered support.

End of Over 17 (10 runs). Eddsup: 56-2, runrate=3.29
Mackin 9-2-32-2
Butt* 3 (1 balls)
Alleyne 15 (28 balls)
Last Wicket: Marshall c. Ahmed b. Mackin 30 (FOW: 53/2)

Hmmm, not used to this! Suthers rests but so far this proficient and respectable combo have survived all that Mushy, Cooky, Hot Rod & Saj have thrown at them. Not overly concerned as we’re at home so dragging out is fine.

Last Wicket: Stanton c. Jervis b. Webb 62 (FOW: 154/2)

Seeing as Tony has named this thread incorrectly, it seems the lads have got a bit confused!

If you look at my oppo's transfer's, you will see why they aint doing too well at the moment!

Saj strikes just before lunch. The spinner showing the seamers how to do it on a cracked pitch.

The players are off the field for lunch.

46.6 W Gamage to Mcsporran
That's a high ball and... caught! Beautifully judged catch there. The breeze caused the ball to swirl but he's taken it cleanly.

Lost a couple quickly, but not too bad considering the side I have out

All about Saj today. Seamers still struggling big time and this is the biggest total we've conceded in FC all season other than the one where we bowled with our batsmen.
