Scored again last night but was also on the losing team again. Their attacking brand of football isn't working very well considering the outlay they have made this year.

They (Cambridge) had over 5,000 at the game - that's good going for them, isn't it? Perhaps the attacking brand of football is repaying nicely at the turnstiles?

Crowds are relatively similar to last season so to answer your question....no.

Their wage bill has increased a lot this season. They are failing so far.

Very nice to see Barry back at the Hall last night, as a spectator; and he was, again, a very pleasant man with time and a smile for lots of persons to have "selfie" pics.

Yep saw him before hand and he said hello, was having chats with plenty of staff members too.

He must have been very satisfied with his decision to leave having witnessed what a service - starved & toothless frontline we displayed !

No one could deny that we would be a stronger squad with his presence

My comments were meant in regard of Cambridge not doing as well as expected, and us higher up Division 1 than expected. But yes you are dead right. He would have have seen poor old Mooney up front on his own, once we went a goal up, and thought, that could have been him, as it was many times under Phil Brown. He probably thought he was best out of it.

So he is suffering the same injury he had with us but they think that asking him to play through the pain barrier like he did here is unfair.

Poor old Bazza. Knees are tricky things and the article doesn't say if the operation is relatively minor or something bigger. I remember reading about Denis Law and what he used to go through - not good.

Maybe that's exactly why he wasn't offered more money with us....I was surprised and sad to se him go and I wished him well at the time
