Pig better than Corr? Do me a favour!
He has been replaced by better quality strikers as we are in league one now, loads have moved on as corr is in the past and in league two, we look forward to better quality players coming in all the time, corr felt unwanted and god knows why, he didn't even like piggot because he was a threat and it's no secret they didn't get on, the pig is a good replacement for Barry and pig will only get better, I've wish corr the best and I'd like to see Cambridge come up, but will Barry want to come up to league one with them if they get there, not to sure, maybe Northampton next on his list of clubs:omg:

someone whose last act in a Southend shirt was setting up a last minute winner at Wembley.
A lot of our supporters also have evolved from being cavemen.
Well I still think the pig is better than corr even more so now:smile:Pig better than Corr? Do me a favour!
His a upgrade alright:winking:If only Piggott was here last season, then we could have compared the quality of the two players instead of just claiming Pig is an upgrade.
mind out this post might get deleted by someone:hilarious::hilarious:Just to point out:
While playing for us in L2, Barry Corr scored 3 goals in 11 matches against teams in higher divisions (2 against Championship teams). We won 5 of those 11 games.
He definitely performed against higher level clubs, he had the physicality to be a problem against any defender at any level. We'll never know if he would have cut it with us in L1 but personally I think he would have been a great asset and would have scored plenty of goals.

Same old with a lot of posts eh:smile:Behave. Yours were completely off topic and diverting a thread, hence they were removed. Stop bleating.

I sincerely hope you don't do statistics for a living.
2010-11
Bristol City (Champ) -1 goal (as sub) WIN
Wolves (Prem) - 0 goal LOSS (AET)
Charlton (L1) - 0 goal LOSS
2012-13
Bury (L1) - 0 goal (as sub) DRAW
Bury (L1) - 0 goal WIN (PEN)
Brentford (L1) - 0 goal WIN
Brentford (L1) - 2 goals DRAW
Brentford (L1) - 1 goal LOSS
Leyton Orient (L1) - 0 goal (as sub) WIN
Leyton Orient (L1) - 1 goal (as sub) DRAW AND THROUGH
Crewe (L1) - 0 goal (as sub) LOSS
2013-14
Yeovil (Champ) - 0 goal (as sub) LOSS
Millwall (Champ) - 1 goal WIN
Hull (Prem) - 0 goal WIN
That's 6 goals in 9 starts and 6 sub appearances.
v Prem 0 in 2+0 (2 defeats, 1 AET)
v Champ 2 in 1+2 (2 wins, 1 defeat)
v L1 4 in 5+4
On the basis of those stats I'll concede that he might not be as prolific at Premiership level and that his best level might only be Championship.
ps I'm delighted by my boy Pigott's haul last night and would loved to have seen him up front with Corr this season with Hunt (when fit) coming off the bench to keep Corr fresh.
I'll double check when I get home (and if I saved my spreadsheet). We didn't beat hull in 2013/14
Which of those matches are you disputing happening?!!!
ps Check my original post - I've got Hull down as a defeat:winking:
#DoingaBarna
I missed the two FA cup matches against Brentford and the Crewe match :thump:
It's good practice to double data-extract to avoid these errors!:winking:
Can we leave this to the correct thread please or jam man might lose it:blush::smile:
I think not. You seem to be making more of him being an ex player. He has scored goals this season but it's still only league 2. I'm pleased for him but unlike some, I don't think he is THE MESSIAH.
