With the club laying off some really good people and desperate for money, I'm more annoyed about no transfer fee, than these Two good players leaving.

If the Club really thought they could get a transfer fee don't you think they would have done? The fact is these players have been made available for nearly two months now. NO ONE is willing to pay anything for them because 1) they ain't much cop 2) their wage demands are at a level that paying a transfer fee on top of that does not make it economical to pay anything for them. Is that really hard to understand?

i have just been told that the chairman has refused to talk to any players or their agents so at least another four players are due to leave on frees over the next few days as they have all handed in transfer requests due to their contracts not being fullfilled so the chairman has 14 days to cough up or these players become free to join who they want, oh dear.

Got to have been Martins plan - at least short term with the situation - stop paying the players who want to leave, knowing that by (FA?) law they can give 14 days notice and walk for a free with no recourse.

mate just told me on facebook as he has been chatting to macca, said that the players nearly went round martins house in person to put letters in to terminate their contracts, we will see in the next few days as 14 days notice has been handed in by some players.

Cheers Ad cheers macca sad to see you both leave in such a shocking way it was always going to happen unfortunately though after all the crap they have endured. Still seems ridiculous to not get a fee for them even if only a minimal fee its better than sod all an it just doesnt seem cost effective at all. I still ****ed off by the whole situation it gets worse an worse every day here its a ****ing joke.
