Plenty of games and points to play for. No need for too much depression. A bad result yes but certainly not season ending

We were very poor tonight though.
Probably need at least 7 more wins to get in the play-offs. Thats going to be tough.

Why do you (most of you) guys think you have some right to beat us? Yes we may be near the bottom but ignoring the three points from twelve games pre Davids, since then we are on play off form, 34 points from 22. Might be wrong but don't think we have only been beaten by more than one goal once since then too, three clean sheets in a row at home now and look at the sides we have beaten. Im not saying we are brilliant far from it but get your facts right and show some respect. Rant over. Ps happy to break the Southend curse and hope you get promoted so you can't get back to usual ways next season!!!

Think the fact we have beaten you in six of our last eight vists to Underhill and not lost since 2001 until tonight gives us a slight feeling we should be putting you to bed.

So much negativity with a Paul Sturrock side, what a surprise....you get what you get, very lucky to beat Orient , open ya eyes people, they were far the better side and then reality check, can't raise a gallop at Barnet! Best we can hope for this season i'm afraid 2-0 loss to Crewe.

We don't all think that past form means a guaranteed win. Even before Davids arrived we were outplayed by Barnet at home. Some Southend fans were complacent last night but most of us were just cold. I like Barnet and have watched them many times against other teams. I hope they don't go down and I fear that we'll see you next season.
