Garbage. People will say Barnet are a better team this season but theyre not. Theyre one point above the relegation zone where they always are! We were lucky to get a point at home to them, so it speaks volumes. Theyve been a guaranteed six points for as long as I can remember! Im guessing the ever changing nature of the team, especially in midfield is not helping. Timlin's absence being felt massively. Sadly neither Spillane or Lund look like theyve adequately replaced him. Defence as well, we look far better with Phillips in there. Keeper doesnt move off his line, and he only gives Freddy 10 mins to try and salvage things.

All in all very depressing. Yes a trip to Wembley will be great but then maybe the harsh reality of Accrington, Morecambe, Aldershot all over again next season. Can still make play offs but have some tough games still to come.

Maybe we are just not goo enough or maybe we are tired after too many games.

Now we have lost, good luck to Barnet. Hope they stay up.

Played well first half means jack, gifted barnet two goals by the sounds of it. Being beaten by them is pathetic. Promotion? :hilarious:

That was ****ing ****. Completely unacceptable performance against a side that we should be taking apart. Hoof after hoof after hoof, the two biggest centre backs in the league laughing themselves hoarse all game as they swept them all up. No skill, no nous, no tactics, no ****ing clue. We have been awful for far too long. We got away with a lucky win at Wycombe, tonight we got what we deserved.

2-0. Embarrassing.

Barnet, Aldershot, Accrington - all teams you need to beat if you are gunning for promotion. How we let them off the hook after the first half hour I'll never know but by the sounds of things, once they scored, we went to pieces. We've got it all to do now.

Down side to getting to WEMBLEY?

I think there is a downside to getting to Wembley, As great as it is if you asked RM and PS they would i believe prefer promotion. The down side as i see it is that the players themselves would be over the moon with excitement, and whether intentional or not may now not play to their ability for fear of getting injured , or red or yellow carded and miss their date with Wembley.I dont really know what PS can do to insure this dosent happen, but reading the threads on the Barnet game it may already have begun. To lose 2-0 against them ,im sorry but that is pathetic, and can be no excuses for it.:sad::angry:

Just as we thought then! Grrrrrrrrreat! Personally think Fred or Harris should have more game time.

Yet you are given them a nice excuse for poor performance.

Getting to Wembley could just as easily boost confidence, and our form since Christmas has been mediocre and we werent at Wembley then...

It's time to freshen the team up for Sat game, I personally drop at least 5 players and put players who want to prove themselves rather than sitting on the bench!
