I'd watch it

Surely if they are serious and that into the project then the consortium will pay the dept then get Rentokil round to a house in Benfleet and kill the rat?

It is now understood that the winding up hearing has been adjourned for a further six weeks which is marked as "final". - Echo

There is that word again. So is it the final final, or the final final since the last final?

All jokes aside, that is hopefully good news and will focus minds to get the sale done well in advance of 26th June. Although I won't hold my breath.

Curtains if not, it seems.

Assuming the adjournment is exactly six weeks. We will return to the Rolls Building on Weds 26th June.

If the sale hasn't gone through by then, we are in big trouble not just with creditors, but the league I would assume. Who might be getting itchy trigger fingers again...
But what does this all mean for season cards??
Can they be sold and if so, who gets the money??

While there is a crocodile swimming in the swamp (who also owns the swamp) there is no way on earth that the Consortium would consider putting season cards on sale.

It is a matter of grave concern - and I don't mean to be alarmist. I haven't read the rest of the posts & kept up so I may be out of date but I have always thought that the latest episode was meant to "chase the snakes out of the grass" ............ to focus people's minds, to get things sorted, to get a deadline in place - possibly even orchestrated by the consortium behind the scenes - stranger things have happened.

The downside now is that the deadline might be missed.

The lack of progress was highlighted last year (November time?) and people were saying "don't worry" ............ hhhhmmm - as you say, don't hold your breath.

For christ sake ...this is a total joke ..Ron Martin/Council or indeed both ..how much longer !..Ronald Martin provide the necessary paperwork and stick to your famous words ..I love this club you ****ing idiot ..well Ronald Martin prove it ...get your part in the gone with the wind saga ..completed..provide what is needed and @@@# off . Let our fabulous football club thrive..its vital to the city and provides a social gathering for 1000s of like minded people. You should do what is right and for once be true to your word
