I think it was a joke that got out of hand and actually started annoying people.Makes you wonder why they bothered with the WUP to start with
What would the symptoms be?Stewart’s Law sounds like one of those populist laws that come into being after something horrible happens to the person in question.
I am hoping there won’t be a Mad Cyril’s law or even worse Mad Cyril’s disease.
not if I stood on his ****ing head.If he fell into a bucket of s..t he would come out smelling of roses
Not necessarily. Stewarts Law want their money. The best way to get it is if the club survives and the deal goes through. They will see how the situation is close to the six week mark. If the deal is very close, I'm sure they will give the further weeks or days needed. They also don't really want to shut down a City's main football club.
Well we'll see if it comes to that. Regarding the judge, if both sides agree to another adjournment, then any judge will agree. It happens all the time.Appreciate your sentiment but I wouldn’t bet your mortgage on it. In some cases a debt can become personal and the loss of money becomes irrelevant and therefore it’s more about revenge. I very much doubt that Stewart’s actually give a flying f..k about the long term survival of Southend and then of course there’s the Judge on the day to consider.
A different judge may take a different view of things, taking into consideration Ron’s constant in ability to deliver on his promises.
Who knows but there’s f..k all we can do about it.
Home match then.
Insolvency and Companies Court Judge Burton 10:30am Rolls Building, Court 15 Winding up petition CR-2024-001132 Southend United Football Club Limited (The)
Has Judge Burton been involved with any of our previous Court appearances? An unfamiliar name to me!!Home match then.
I may be wrong in this, so someone more knowledgeable than me on these matters can comment, but I thought when fighting a WUP and pleading his and SUFCs case, he has to attend, But if both sides have agreed to an adjournment, then they can both send a representative? As it will be a five minute thing at best to grant the adjournment. Is anyone going along to confrount the RAT to ask him or tell him to get out of our club so we can move on .

From what I'm told, no. The consortium have spoke to those outstanding, and they have agreed to wait until the deal goes through.I assume no-one else has joined in to collect their debts?
Ron was seen heading in a side door clutching a large brown envelopeIs it over? Do we still exist?
