Stewart’s Law sounds like one of those populist laws that come into being after something horrible happens to the person in question.

I am hoping there won’t be a Mad Cyril’s law or even worse Mad Cyril’s disease.
What would the symptoms be?

Insolvency and Companies Court Judge Burton10:30amRolls Building, Court 15Winding up petitionCR-2024-001132Southend United Football Club Limited (The)

Right it's now down to the council to call a full council meeting And get the mess they have created by agreeing to back the club Then just like them change there minds and leave the club in the doldrums.

Not necessarily. Stewarts Law want their money. The best way to get it is if the club survives and the deal goes through. They will see how the situation is close to the six week mark. If the deal is very close, I'm sure they will give the further weeks or days needed. They also don't really want to shut down a City's main football club.

Appreciate your sentiment but I wouldn’t bet your mortgage on it. In some cases a debt can become personal and the loss of money becomes irrelevant and therefore it’s more about revenge. I very much doubt that Stewart’s actually give a flying f..k about the long term survival of Southend and then of course there’s the Judge on the day to consider.

A different judge may take a different view of things, taking into consideration Ron’s constant in ability to deliver on his promises.

Who knows but there’s f..k all we can do about it.

Any judge worth his salt will hear what Stewarts law has to say And take into count that it is them that have agreed for a another adjournment

Well we'll see if it comes to that. Regarding the judge, if both sides agree to another adjournment, then any judge will agree. It happens all the time.

Is anyone going along to confrount the RAT to ask him or tell him to get out of our club so we can move on .
I may be wrong in this, so someone more knowledgeable than me on these matters can comment, but I thought when fighting a WUP and pleading his and SUFCs case, he has to attend, But if both sides have agreed to an adjournment, then they can both send a representative? As it will be a five minute thing at best to grant the adjournment.

I assume no-one else has joined in to collect their debts?
