Atmosphere tonight

I hardly think i need supporting advice from a leeds fan,of all people, concentrate on your fans bullish attititude and behaviour, would be my advice, and ask yourself, why your fans are so disliked, good day.

"Good day":D :D A bullish attitude? What would one of them be? If it means supporting your team with a passion, travelling in large numbers, standing and signing loud and proud. I suppose we would be guilty my'lord.

I think there are far worse clubs supporters to learn from. I suppose the above doesn't appeal at all then?

If we are so disliked why are voted by many to be the best fans to visit by most fans in this league and others. Instead of living off stereotypes try engaging with visiting supporters, you might find there just like you....

At the end of the day it doesn't matter whether were liked or not, most clubs profess to hate us. Ask them why and the reasons tend to be a load of rubbish, we have coped with being "disliked" for a long time. I doubt that will change anytime soon

How dare you suggest we're just like dirty northerners!!!!!:finger:

Mods.

Can this boring **** please just have his own section entitled...."Let me prattle on about Leeds United all ****in day"......

As for everyone liking Leeds you are so wrong. There is nothing to unite two set of fans more than a chant of "We all hate Leeds scum". Tranmere last season i think it lasted about ten mins.

No your right your fans are fantastic. I especially liked the day you got sent down to this league that is so much below you and you started whacking innocent Ipswich fans including a bloke I worked with wives.

Please come back with a witty reply about how many times you have something, how great you fan base is, or how many of your far too good for this level as I am all ****ing ears.

I fail to see why everyone needs to sing ? I've moved from V to the family section to get away from the incessant ****ing Boom Boom Boom of a rythemless drummer. Having said that I'll be moving back to the West coz its just not the same without a half time ciggie.

It's been said time and time and again the accoustics at RH are the biggest problem. Great noise from the North Bank but poor view. The South Upper tries hard but really can't be heard beyond the halfway line and from the family stand I could barely hear TBV. The family stand was fairly lively but I'll bet no-one 50 feet away heard them.

Just live with it and look forward to an accoustic friendly new stadium where us old farts can watch the game with just as much passion as the rest of the crowd but in a different part of the ground.

And as if by Magic you appear, what took you so long :D Its a shame about you, your Dad seems like a sound bloke, you however seem to just be a keyboard warrior with a complex

Now all of a sudden you work with someone who was attacked at Ipswich, never thought of mentioning that before during one of the many times you have brought this subject up? Bit rich as well coming from a man keen to boast of his CS squad links. What are they? The girl guides. I was there that day and travelled back with lots of Ipswich fans, they weren't overly concerned on the journey back

To be honest I tried to give you a wide berth and even replied to your comments about the ref in another but as always you come on here and give it the old were such a big club bollocks which you churn up after every game regardless of result.

That's right because the rivalry and "hatred" must have lasted how long ? All of about four seasons now ? Of all the pointless chants heard at RH this is up there with the best (sits just behind "There's only one Adam Barrett")

1) Only started working with the Ipswich guy about six months ago? So did Ipswich not happen then?

2) Where have I ever claimed to be part of the CS Crew. I know the lads of course as I am sure half the lads on here do but I have never once claimed to be part of them?

A wide berth? So much so you can't help but rep me regardless of topic? I think someone might have a slight crush. I hope not cause how could i refuse such a charmer, a modern day Romeo

Dont disagree at all. To be honest used to quite like Leeds and when they won the title I was actually delighted all be it as a kid. What I cannot stand now is the were too good for this divison attitude.

1st rule of rep - Dont talk about rep - oh dear.

Shown by who or what? We are in this league because we deserve to be. We went down cause we weren't good enough and we are still here 3 years later because were not good enough.

We have a manger that will admit that, on the whole a fanbase which will and thats still not good enough. Don't confuse the rubbish the media talk with what real actual people say.

Oh clever, i see what you have done there. Very. Funny. So your wide berth isn't that wide then?

 A very valid point, two sets of fans without any real rivalry or grudge with us signing about hating us during a game we have no involvement in?? I'm sure both sets of players were delighted that for 10 minutes or so they were second best to a team that no-one cares about playing somewhere else in the country.

Girls, girls! Come on, bit of friendly banter that's all. Dave, let's save the acrimony for those deserving of it, like that idiot that supports the team where you live, and Gareth, just grin and bear it (note the spelling I used there please people!). You can't expect to come on an opposing club's site and not expect a little aggravation? Fortunately, we're not all quite so harsh!

thought the atmosphere was ok last night. west per usual did there best and often started loads of chants of and then leeds heard and just drowned them out.

although in second half the rest of west joined in as did other parts of the ground and it thought it sounded pretty good.

leeds were very loud but such a massive fan base blah blah blah i thought they sang the same 3 songs all night. thought it was very boring after a while. did expect a little better from them to be honest.

Thanks toelendback for your discussion this week, but can you now $od off and pester the Gills messageboard?

See you next season

So I'm a rhythmless (note the spelling - I can be a facetious ******* as well) drummer am I?....

Considering I've never played it before in my life I feel I do a reasonable job in the hope it adds something extra to the atmosphere. I think most in V/W will agree that it encourages the fans to unite and sing as one, which in turn will hopefully encourage the lads to up their game. Something which obviously does not register with you. I don't claim to be a pro on the drum, far from it, infact at times I probably am a bit out of tune. I tell you what though it's a tough job (which I really do not want to do, but I do for the love of our club) You should see the state my hands are in after each game, literally bleeding for the club. Anyway, this isn't a sob story.

How about you pick up the sticks then billy big bollocks and see how you do?

Infact, no. How about you remain in the family enclosure, I wouldn't want my **** drumming or the noise from people vocally encouraging the team to upset you (especially the "One Adam Barrett" tune - what stupid fans we are to sing a song about our team captain) On a side note, If you ever want a chat about my poor drumming techniques, you know where i'll be (just follow the awful boom, boom, boom) Perhaps you can offer some expert advice?

I can't rep you, but just thought i'd say well said. So here i go.

well said.

Too easy for people to criticise, yet too hard for people to help/join in.
