Are things moving at Fossetts?

Driving home from Waitrose down Fossetts Way, the ground immediately to the left of the road (opposite the blue hoardings) has a load of posts, markers and tape in the ground, sectioning it off. Is this Rat land, and if so, has building begun does anyone know?

I doubt building is beginning - he's still got to apply for new planning permission - and don't think he's reached agreement with the council on the leases either

He has to sign the AFL with the council yet and that is about 6 weeks off. Then he can apply for planning once it is decided how many houses/flats they are allowing him to build.

I noticed this the other day. Seems to be sectioned off with low level net fencing. They seemed to be clearing the land

Don’t know when this is happening but the old rusty dome Ron had floated in got sold for scrap recently for a not inconsiderable amount. (Over 100k) I don’t know who the current owner of it is (ie Ron or consortium) so I don’t know who the beneficiary is, but it’s possible the roping off is to commence access and deconstruction if it’s still there

I too have taken note of this land changing shape.
A very expensive scaffold fence with wire mesh panels.
The low green mesh fencing looks like the sort that newts could be there.

The area has to be cleared of newts before any ground work is allowed. This is usually done with netting and buckets. Which have to be checked on regular basis. Until no more newts are spotted.

Ron is the beneficiary

I believe it’s Keepmoat homes land. So nothing to do with Ratty or Ratty Jr.

Should belong to the club but was it bailiffs selling it?

They must have all the reports needed from previous application unless they have expired
It took Garon Park Golf 2 years to clear the newts when they wanted to fill in a pond. It's a slow process, that is monitored by the environment agency. And you have to pay them to do it.
