I must have no footballing brain as whenever i have seen him he has been awful and a liability but a lot on here rave about him. Big job for Brown now we may have to even get three centre backs if Ferdinand leaves too!

How have the club not learnt from our failings with with contract renewals in the last few years? Hardly going to convince Ferdinand to stay either seeing two regular first team players leave. If him and White go, we'll only have two defenders on our books.

I was disappointed about Atkinson leaving but this news really hurts as Thompson has improved so much this season.

Bury have recruited well already this pre-season. They seem to go in cycles of splashing cash and this season seems to be one of them cycles.
Very suprised someone better hasn't snapped him up though! Huge huge huge loss on our part!

We have 0 CB's at present but at least the season card prices have frozen...
