Quote[/b] (Bob Cratchitt @ April 13 2005,23:42)]There is nothing wrong with thanking people and it should be welcomed. However this all snowballed due to a comment in the original post that has been subsequently edited out. It started off quite small but has escalated. Suddenly from people stating that they felt the Trust was being more negative than necessary towards the club. Suddenly this became you are not allowed to be funny unless you come from the deep mysterious inner circle of SZ. As i mentioned before if this was an isolated case then nothing would have been made of it, however this is not the case and different trust personnel have posted at different times views that seem to me a tad too negative, I feel negativity breeds negativity.
Precisely, this all started with an off the cuff remark which did not harm anybody which has now turned into an open season on Beavers

Why don't you lodge a complaint?
Thank God for that post!  Reading this has left me tearing my hair out.

Can we please draw a line under this and all make sure we're pulling in the same direction tomorrow night for what is surely the biggest game of the season so far ?

Up the Shrimpers!

Right, I'm drawing a line under this.

Yes, the original post was a bit "nicky-nicky-ner-ner". Big deal. The far greater sin, frankly, was the one perpretated by the club in promoting the shambolic rail service - something for which, so far as I am aware, they have still not apologised. That is what should be troubling us, not a mildly ill-judged jibe by Beaver.

IMHO, anyone who thinks that a person such as Beaver - the level of whose efforts for the Trust and the Club is something that puts us all to shame - has some sort of "hidden agenda" either needs their head examining or needs to set that agenda out fully on this website for us all to examine.

As John Major once said: it's time to put up, or shut up.

End of discussion. Thank you.
