2022-23 Season Kit - (H/A)

Indeed. They are paying us money to have their name emblazoned on our shirt. We should be very grateful.
As you say it’s their logo and they are entitled to have it that way.
The fact the font and design is so simple, and in your face, probably means it’s doing its job in bring it to peoples attention…..
Does anyone have any idea of the money they have paid to be the main sponsor?
How does this compare in comparison to shirt sales takings?
How much do we actually get per shirt sale as I heard it was only 5%...

In Australia we get 15% discount on retail price from Macron. Hopefully Southend at least match that

So even though we are there this afternoon, Mrs RHB makes us go to the shop this morning in case they sell out of my size. As its a part birthday present I'm not getting an option it seems. So shirt tried on and bought. In the real world of M&S etc I'm an XL. In Macron world I'm an XXXXL. A bit long but fits in the chest. Impressive eh?

Oh, here we go. When these shirts are made in places like Bangladesh, Pakistan or China, they never make them to UK sizes(Is it really that difficult?), even though it has UK size on the label. So there's going to be all those buying online that will now get shirts that are too small for them.

I may have just been unlucky TSNB. But I would suggest trying on in the shop if you can.

No one seems to have mentioned that the shorts also have sponsors. Workplace Safety Solutions Ltd, back of shorts.
Southend United are delighted to announce Workplace Safety Solutions Ltd as the club’s Back of Shorts sponsor for the upcoming 2022/23 season.

Workplace Safety Solutions provide Health and Safety support to clients and work in partnership to deliver robust and effective health and safety management.

As part of the new partnership, Workplace Safety Solutions will be working closely with the club to implement a positive health & safety culture throughout the business.

CEO Tom Lawrence said:

“Chris and Joe and their team have a wealth of knowledge and have been a great support to us. I am delighted that they will be partnering with us for the 2022/23 season... and hopefully beyond.”

Joe Turner of Workplace Safety Solutions said:

I don't think you have been unlucky RHB. This happens all the time where they get clothes made in these Countries. Go try an XL jumper on at Primark, and see how you get on. Yes for sure, the very good advice is to try on in the club shop before you buy.

For anyone shopping at the shop this afternoon, apart from the new first team home strip and training kit, there's not too much new leisure stuff available (as in none). Hopefully they will start stocking up over the next few weeks. And the new club baseball caps are bordering on seriously fugly.

They didnt have much other than training kit, kit and travel kit last season either

Anyone know if they are doing shirt printing today?

Can’t even see the option online?
Just been in contact with the club for you and anyone else. They are not doing screen printing in the shop this season. They will be contacting the warehouse on Monday or Tuesday, to see if they can offer that service. They will let me know on Wednesday.
