I have been checking chris phillips tweets and the blues web site for hours now and its the same old story the football club tells us we hope to sign players in this window yet nothing ever happens.Come tomorrow and we will have signed no one yet again.

Just looking on teletext at the deals that have gone through, and the loans, Moncur would have been more than acceptable, Kaikai has gone to Brentford, Colclough as mentioned MK Downs, all players of a level I'd be happy with.

Looks like, in this season when we were going to do our business early, that only applied to the departures, not the incoming transfers. Going to be a nervous night.

Brentford have also signed Rico Henry, decent blag for them.

He said the team/squad isnt good enough, not those particular players.

George Moncur just been loaned from Barnsley to Peterborough - missed out on that one !

Joe Ward playing on our doorstep at Chelmsford and probably not having a clue of his existence until now is missing out on one...

We're always hoping for that non-league gem, which he may or may not be. But Brighton at their level obviously saw something there.

What worries me isn't the lack of signings necessarily, it's the fact that we will be left with a manager who can't seem to motivate a team, doesn't seem to know his best 11, has no plan A let alone plan B and has managed a side to 16 points from a possible 66. Don't think it will matter who we sign with him in charge
