I'm referring to Browns quote re deadline day and how important it was. So 1 loan signing made. Great ! 12 Strikers on the list yet none signed! Dreadful quote saying he was at the bottom of the list. Patently obvious you need to get a life. Glad you're happy with the signings so far probably happy with the results and performances to date too.
 
Anybody else think that keeping Theo Robinson training at the club was actually a shrewd move on PB"s part. Miss out on Simpson and he is a good back up.

I don't buy this "Players don't want to play for PB' - it's just more propaganda from the PB haters...

We are a small club, with limited budget, and a dilapidated stadium, unless you had some allegiance to Southend would you sign for us, when you could say sign for the likes of Bolton, or any other richer club in our division - it's a sellers market, we just cannot compete.

Most players are mercenaries - working or not working for PB does come into the equation,

Where is your evidence for this? There seems to be a lot of people on the forum and social messaging tonight who are putting two and two together and making five because it fits their anti-Brown agenda. I suspect that is has far more to do with money than anything else and that isn't PB's domain. The Simpson saga is, I'm sure, a case in point.
 
CP quiet for some time, and still no 'all business done goodnight tweet' from the club which always happens in my experience- so still something we are trying to get over the line..

well it's another bum on a seat but not in the same league in terms of ability and potential impact on our season.

After Brown's comments on his striker targets tonight if I was Robinson I'd tell him to "do one" if he offered a deal. :angry:
