20:20 World Cup

Andrew Flintoff is now only worthy of his place in the side for his bowling alone. His batting has completely gone. We cannot afford to have him batting at 6 in the Test line up.

why he was dancing around like a penis i'll never know... him and snape weren't spotting anything. danger-anus mascarenas should have been in higher up seeing as the rate was already at 10.5 when shah went

Indeed. The trouble is though that can you trust him as one of only three seamers, plus Monty, in a 4 man attack. Im just not convinced his ankle can hold up to the demand this would place on it, and Collingwoods bowling in tests would need to improve to give those bowlers some respite. You certainly wouldnt want him in the top six, and therefore I cant see how he can be fitted easily into our test team, unless another allrounder is identified, preferably a wicket keeper capable of batting in the top six. Otherwise I fear his inclusive will now unbalance our side rather then provide the balance it did in that glorious summer of 05.

First name on the team sheet in the ODI's though.

67-0 after 8 overs... come on NZ, keep our hopes alive until we lose to india!

And we thought it couldn't get much worse, India just done us for 218 -4 including Yuvraj Singh hitting 6 sixes in an over off Broad

Why is Flintoff playing in what is a nothing game for us now ?

I can't believe that by the fourth six Broad didn't think sod this and just bowled a wide.

I just hope that Stuart Broad can recover from this hammering. It must have absolutely destroyed his confidence.

Oh and great move by Freddie to aggravate Yuvraj just prior to that over commencing.

better to go for 36 off an over rather than 37 i guess!

Yeah true. I'm just one of these people that if a team needed one to win i'd bowl down a wide for the anti-climax feeling.

A wide by Broad may have thrown Yuvraj off his swing of course.

and out go the hosts!

I did say on page 1 of this thread that i had a sneaky feeling that India might win this and that's still a possibility.

ho ho ho! well played india last night, the aussies look just like us when chasing, couldn't get bat on ball
