I haven't posted since after the Gateshead game where I said the players will have to leave absolutely everything on the pitch to get past Rochdale and FGR. The Club, the players and the supporters have absolutely nailed the Play Offs and I'm so happy that I will get my chance to be a Shrimper for the day on June 1st (Providing I get a ticket). 9 Months has passed since our game at the Hive and I chatted with a few Shrimpers after the game that wanted the Manager out. Well what a story this season is on the verge of becoming for you guys.. I said I wanted your Club to go up with us and even I can't believe the ride you are on.... Fantastic after all the problems the Club has faced and I will get my chance to be a Shrimper For The Day Ole Ole .....

He's always been supportive of Southend through our troubles, he is a particular fan of Kevin Maher. He seemed to be trying to be neutral last night.

I agree. I thought he was very fair, particularly on our never say die/can’t write us off attitude. He said we were best 1st half, he said FGR played better 2nd than they had in 1st…he said Southend continued to play the way they had in the 1st. Yes the cameras focussed on SC in the stands looking at his tablet and talking through his comms, so what.

How proud is Justin going to feel walking out at Wembley, half of it cheering his club, its the stuff of dreams and couldnt happen to a nicer fella. What a thankyou he'll be getting.

With all their strikers failing to score in 120 mins, I wonder if SC will be looking to bring in more! Have to say once again disapointed with Nick Hayes, he is a number two keeper at best

As Aaron McLean repeatedly said, SC plans for every eventuality. His striker who lasted 90 minutes has scored ZERO goals this season. His top scorer sat through 120 minutes on the bench. Not sure it’s a new striker they need.

Yeah I was happy with Quiqly starting when they said he hadn't scored a league goal this season. Apparently rationale was previous game he was unplayable and held the ball up well

I watched on tv but saw nothing. Early on he put a free header from the centre of goal 5 yards wide. Then he had a decent set up 18 yards out and hit it out for a throw in.

Moreover, we were the better team probably until he went off. Then they were the better team. Awful management
