united we stand
Life President⭐🦐
And we got to see sir Chrissy Powell ‘wiggle it’ after his penalty

Hard to believe he’s 46 - looks way younger and played like he could still play a decent standard if he wanted to… all the great memories came flooding back
Wow-we didn’t know who it was and were really impressed by how well the 75 year old bloke was playingThey're claiming Stephen Hunt but there's no chance that's right. He's 43!
Edit - it WAS Stephen Hunt. FFS he looks like Stanley Matthews
Read in isolation that quote could be taken out of context.Think Kev is married to his sister?
I believe Paul McShane is a close friend of Kevin Maher
Barrett got a ball full in the face tonight, just got up shrugged it off and carried on.
Things looked like they may boil over on a few occasions but other than in the West Stand where tbh they lost control the mounted police did a sterling job to keep the PLXI ultras safe from the marauding junior blues tifosi. Thankfully no one was hurt when that Lambretta was chucked off the South Upper either. What was the crowd like?
Nice one, John.
Despite what others (cough, cough Mr Creako) may say Chrissie Powell is and always will be my favourite SUFC player
Gottle of Geer!Gid anyone post a team sheet for tonight?
That may need a rephrase![]()
Yes I would be grateful for this info too.If anyone could put up who played and their numbers it would be really helpful.
We weren’t certain on a couple of Southend players, and no idea on the premiership players- especially the bald unit at the back
I said to my Dad I thought he had his best ever game in a Blue shirt ;-)It was an enjoyable evening and great to see so many former players, I especially loved seeing Chris Powell looking so happy after how his managerial stint ended. I hope Kev and his family had an experience they'll remember fondly.
Had to laugh that Matt Harrold still can't hit a barn door when wearing a Southend shirt![]()
