Breaking News Danny Waldron joins Tamworth on loan for rest of season

I have noticed Bonne is very supportive in terms of giving guidance, advice and encouragement on and off the pitch to team mates. Seemed absolutely delighted for Kendall when he got off the mark. (And was quick to put an arm around him when he missed a sitter whilst still having not got off the mark).

Interesting as it was suggested before he came he was bit of a prima donna/disruptive ( coming from supporters at former clubs so highly unreliable).

Sometimes a club and player just click- other times the opposite.
I must admit when I saw his first interview I wasn’t impressed, I thought he came across as though he thought he was better than us and was almost doing us a favour by signing for us. He does seem to be enjoying himself here now though. He’s clearly a favourite of Maher and although for a while I didn’t see why we persisted as long as we did it’s now looking to be the correct decision.

As you say Bonne seems to have clicked with us now and we’re definitely getting the best out of him now I think. I’d definitely be signing him up for next season on current form.

Maybe he had a really good game of Championship Manager on the go?
I can understand that. I've rediscovered my old save of CM01/02 where Southend have won the Premier League 35 times and the Champions League 20 times. Great stuff.

On the subject of Waldron, I don't believe he put in the work to transition from part-time to full-time in the same way Parillon is doing. Apparently he looked just as off the pace in training as he did when he came on the field.

Tamworth have 14 points from their last six games - only Barnet (with 18 points) are doing better.

We (Southend United) have 10 points from the last six games.

The only chance (slim !!!!) of us playing Tamworth again this season would be at Wembley .Could we INSIST that Waldron cannot face us ?

Noticed last Saturday still only on the bench and making a 80 th min sub appearance. Not really sure if he is really benefiting from this loan move in getting game time which he definitely needs.Suspect we will release him at seasons end and he will drop back down the non league pyramid
