Your favourite country

Only things keeping me in the South-East of England to be honest. Can take or leave the rest of it.

In fact, were it not for us getting promoted, I may well still have been in Canada to this day.

Quote[/b] (Hong Kong Blue @ Sep. 04 2006,14:18)]Singapore is one of the few places that I've visited that I have no real desire to go back to. It must be the dullest country I've been to. Think Belgium but less interesting.
I'm right with you on that. From the moment you step out of the airport the place is so bland and uninteresting apart from the Chinese quarter and the wonderful "shopping" experience in Orchard Towers otherwise known as fours floors of whores (allegedly

).

If you like your smelly humidity 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year Singapore is for you. The only plus side was that our Company was virtually on the top floor of the tallest building.

With BtD on this one... has to be Brazil.  A truly awesome country in every single way.  A beautiful country scenically, filled with beautiful people with beautiful souls, playing beautiful football and beautiful music.

In short, they are a group of people who love life.  You wouldn't see a group of Brazilians come up with some of the bile that has been spat out on this board whilst I've been away for the last few days.

I'd like to say the same about the UK, but with the wave of intolerance which seems to be rising at the moment on both sides of the ethno-religious divide, I'm not sure I can.

Honourable mentions go to New Zealand, Australia, Italy and Sweden - the latter being my runner up

Imagine growing up in a country with a brilliant welfare state and education system, with a football team which punches way way above its weight on the world stage, with snow in winter and sun in summer, everyone drives a Volvo or Saab, owns a yacht and has a country house, and you get to lose your virginity to a Swedish bird.

Come on, what's not to like?!
