I'm not gay (but I think my boyfriend is). But wouldn't we attract attention with these lovely pink shirts? Pink shorts would be good too. Presumably matching lippy would go down well also. I can just imagine turning up at some Northern outback mining community's ground wearing all pink. Frighten the lives out of them.

Anyone would think we're the first Club ever to have a pink kit, by the way people are going on about it.

I presume we have a pink kit because more people voted for it than the other kits in the clubs poll?

The simple answer is don't buy it. I bet the claret kit was an all-time worse seller, so on this basis, the club need to listen to the people who will be buying them. I for one will be using my £15 off voucher to buy a home shirt!

Isn't the £15 voucher for the away kit only?

I think the pink strip looks good personally.

With all the problems in the world, can't believe we are having such a big debate about the colour of our away kit. I mean come on for God's sake!

Changing the subject slightly, but I really can't stand The Hoff on BGT, what a tool! Ruined one of my favourite shows. Is it just me? And, also, what was Amanda Holden wearing last night? Sooooo 'last year' darlings.

Anyway must go, I forgot to tape Glee last week and they're showing a re-run tonight.

Kisses.

Phil

If it's good enough for rough tough rugby players, then wearing pink should be good enough for Southend fans

Exactly, I might wear it for the next home game or the Wycombe game, just to prove a point!!

I guess its only those unsure about their sexuality that have a problem with it! I think its a crap design & I prefer the new home shirt! Thats my excuse & I'm sticking to it!! :whistling:

Dear Shrimperzone,

My Son has expressed great interest in next seasons away shirt. Should i right off any chances of grand children?

I wouldn't worry about it. The two year old daughter of a friend of ours was desperate to get toy tool kit for Christmas. When she got it, she wrapped up the spanner and the hammer in a blanket and put them to bed. :hilarious:
