I think the shirt looks good, its something different and plus we are the "shrimpers" and shrimps are pink...

I've seen it in the flesh and it's not as lairy as it looks in the picture. I really like it but I hope we don't wear the pink shorts with it, that'd be a bit too much.

Nope. They will be black I believe.

I like the pink shirt too, but then I'm female so I guess I'm supposed too *yawn*.

A simple rule to remember guys - wearing pink doesn't make you gay. Having sex with other men does.

The away shirt could be quite amusing at the service stations when a coachload of blokes all rush into the gents together and you see 10 or so blokes in the urinals in pink shirts. I only hope there isn't a drunk gay walking in who reads the instructions on the back of the shirt incorrectly as 'Insert & Go'.

PINK, PINK, PINK, Pretty in Pink.
Can any of you guys help me. Have you ever worn something Pink as an adult? How did you feel? Did it make you bat and bowl? Did others take the mickey?
Can't get me ed around this, so am going to need a lot of convincing that Pink is not for pansies, and not a very stupid own goal.

In my trade pink shirts are commonly worn by car salesman - not quite sure of the reason TBH- other than it makes them easy to
spot if you want to run the useless ******s over.

I'm actually looking forward to wearing this shirt, especially with £20 off (if we ever get sent the vouchers!!!). Also I wear pink shirts and pink t-shirts and I'm married.

Well admittedly my wife is now filing for divorce after catching me in bed with another man, but that's just a coincidence and in no way related to my pink shirt wearing :)

More related to your pink shirt lifting.

did anyone else find it weird why the pink shirt got picked?? i think i have got to the bottom of it !! i found this post on a colchester web site!!

Seems like they are asking their fans to vote on their away kit for next season - personally I think it would seriously **** their fans off if the away kit was "B" - the pink kit!

If you want to help put a smile on their faces simply email:

media@southend-united.co.uk with "KIT B"

Go on - you know it makes sense

i think if some one at the club had used there brains they would have seen that one coming!!

but i must admit it is nice to see ron martin finally say sorry to the fans. we have been waiting a while lets hope lessons can be learned and we can move on (in our pink shirts) hopefully without (more)ron martin
