Work On The New Training Ground Has Started Today 11th July 2022

The photos at fossetts.co.uk/the-stadium look new to my eye. Presumably they're from the revised (17,000 capacity) plans?

The main difference seems to be the main stand, cf. below. Shows the hotel being dropped in favour of more housing, with a lower roof (perhaps leading to a better atmosphere?) as a result.

Didn't they somewhere they have also now incorporated more facilities outside the main stand- incl. outlets incl food etc.
 
Blimey the flats in the background in the first pic sadly look something like the camps the Chinese are keeping uyghurs Muslims in, but the rest looks good

I don’t think it’s be residential flats built on the stadium, as they change it to conference room type building, so the club can run it every day.

Uighurs. Possibility for another income stream there from the Chinese state? Or perhaps the workforce for delivery of the "master plan". Any sightings of Xi Jinping in the area?
