But, the argument goes, they didn't rise so quickly up the Football League. They spent a few seasons in 'consolidation' in Division Two / League One before rising to this level. Therefore a fair proportion of their players are not quite as out of their depth as some of ours clearly are. Maybe ...
No they didn't rise so quickly but while I respect your opinion IMHO the speed of our rise means nothing in relation to comparison with Col U - at the end of the day regardless of where we came from we still finished 6pts above them last season.

I personally reckon the many more players in their squad with Championship experience compared to us plays a major part in how much better they've adapted to this division.

... in a very weak league, as I suggested in the summer. We got lucky ...

I saw Kem Izzet play against us at Layer Road last season and he was barely a football league player.

Now he is playing delicate one-twos and looking generally quite decent. I can't get my head round it...

I think with the Digital Rights Management system that has now been implemented by PremiumTV, it is no longer possible to do that SS.

Really feel for those fans who have gone today, a waste of valuable time and money on this occassion.

I'm at home watching the end of season DVD to cheer myself up!

I'm watching Girls Aloud gyrating on the stage wearing very little; things don't seem so bad all of a sudden ... bravo for YouTube!

Freddy hits the woodwork - that's twice we've hit the frame. From what I am hearing/texts Wolves have scored one gift from flavs, one sublime goal and one from poor defending a set piece. This is by no means the thrashing it might seem.

I agree the division was weak(ish) but the fact still remains that we won it - 6pts ahead of Col U and a lot more than Barnsley so there's obviously some major difference between us and Col U......

Col U even lost their 2 best players in the summer

It was. In my opinion. The gao between top and bottom was closer than it has been for some time ... that's indicative of a weak league, no?

or it could be a strong league, with even the weaker sides not far behind?

Either way I think it would be difficult to tell without going to a few games
