Collis 5 not much to do, one ridiculous parry when Flavs would have caught it, little attempt to stop the goal
Hunt 4 how does he get away with it, twice tried to usher the ball out for a goal kick and twice the attacker retrieved it, shows how poor he is
Francis 9 mom. Class act, good on ball, good movement, good distribution, shows how clueless Tilson is to have left him out of team recently
Barrett 5 showed that this division is about his limit, left back not his position and poor substitute for Hammell, Tilson takes the blame again, another genuine player playing in the wrong position.
Clarke 8 player of the year for me already, hardly ever has a bad game
Maher 4 crab, crab, crab, crab, you got him out the side once Tilson, showed some bottle and now we have got him back and his influence is negative and not good to watch, give the ball away a lot as well
Bailey 6 still not as good as he was but got a bit more involved 2nd half
Macca 5 Another one out of position and it shows, Tilson blamed again
Gower 5 Inconsistent performances lately but still classy enough to earn a place, need him in the team as he is the only creator
Morgan 6 not great but he has pace, unfortunately he is in the worst team in the division to utilize it with our ridiculous crab like midfield
Charlie Mac 6 tries hard and some nice touches although the manager likes to play the high ball to the smallest bloke on the park
Hoops 6 burst in to life as soon as he came on and missed a sitter but at least he was there, convinced he is good but will never know with this manager

Tilson 1 you really showed how poor a manager you are today, without a Freddy, Leon, inspired Flavs to get you out a hole, ideas and tactics are pathetic!

At least he goes forward, puts in some nice balls and a class act compared to those around him!

thats what i dont understand there were many times in the second half where he was to be seen standing on the halfway line and not venturing past it and if he did he would take 1 touch maybe 2 then lose the ball the 1st penalty appeal they had come from 2 francis mistakes a short pass that got intercepted then a terrible touch that went straight to their left midfielder

Not sure anyone deserved a MOM but I thought Francis did pretty well tbh.

Needs more games to settle back in but I would rather see him in the side than not.

Decent passes, lively running and defended pretty well. Wanted the ball from the keeper aswell which gave us a few options. If the others turned up, we might have prospered.

Makes the next team to take the pitch for me.

And can we have Mr Singh every week. Thought he was just about spot on today.

I also agree Francis had a good game and the away management will also confirm this as they were often discussing how to mark him/stop his runs down the right flank.

I agree Francis was good today. Had a good touch, passing was very good especially that lob for Alan McCormack from the half way line!

I'd rate Francis MOTM today. He always makes himself available for the throw from Collis saving us teh lottery of a 50-50 kick upfield.
However to be honest there wasn't much competion for MOTM

Francis 9 is a joke. He had a goodish first half but failed to get forward and support, at one stage Charlie and deano ahd no-one within 30 yrs of them when they were at edge of box and the right side was wide open. Francis could be seen standing on half way line pointing. Second half he just kept falling over and caught in possession (just taking the led from the team captain there though)

MOM for me was Clarke who was awesome today.

Gower never looked like creating anything, he was in Lescott's pocket and forgot was his left foot was for, cutting back inside a giving them time to get back and defend instead of whipping in a low, first-time ball for Charlie.

Still, wouldn't be Wiggy without the bias, the vendettas and the bollox

Looking at a few other threads with people's match ratings on, seems people weren't very happy with Francis today, whereas i agree with most on this thread. Thought he was our best player today, although that probably isn't hard as we were **** poor all over the park.

A 9 because he looked like a proper footballer unlike the rest of the amateurs. As i said he couldn't get in the team for weeks and weeks and just to watch a bloke in a blue shirt showing balance and vision is a rarity lately. Have been saying it for years but honestly believe Tilson/Brush are bad judges of a footballer, Francis or Hunt no brainer!

couldn't make it today but was hunt seriously playing left back today after his un-describaly performance the other day?

Realistically, IMO he was only slightly better than average, along with Peter Clarke. The thing was, the rest of them were way below par which made Francis and Clarke stand out.

thats surprising. there was simply no way that he could have played lb again. why didn't richards come in?
