Who will be in the England squad?

You mean the other way round right? Ox is on the plane and Johnson isn't. I'd probably do the same thing, I don't think Ox will get much gametime but he could be a decent impact sub with his pace, Johnson had a patch of fantastic form but has dropped off massively the last few games to the point that he often hasn't played the full 90 minutes for Sunderland.

Should of quoted Shrimpboy meaning his suggestion of Johnson over Ox is laughable.

Forget the defence ( I think we are lacking class defenders big time) I am excited by this squad.....the likes of barkley....sterling....lalana who are quick players keen to attack.....interesting times ahead.
Line up of
Hart
Johnson cahill jagielka baines
Gerrard
Sterling barkley ox
Rooney sturridge

I don't think he'll go with something quite that attacking. maybe:

Hart

Johnson
Cahill
Jagielka
Baines

Sterling
Gerrard
Henderson
Lallana

Sturridge
Rooney

Ox and Barkley from the bench.

I actually like the look of the squad, think Pubey's line above is very likely and much more exciting than the team that lost against Germany in South Africa :

01 James
02 G JohnsonWright-Phillips, 87)
03 A Cole
06 Terry
15 Upson
04 Gerrard Captain
08 Lampard
14 Barry
16 Milner (J Cole, 63)
10 Rooney
19 Defoe (Heskey, 71)

Club appearances this season

Hart 39
Johnson 30
Baines 40
Cahill 46+1
Jagielka 29+1
Shaw 38
Jones 36+3
Smalling 31+7

Lampard 32+8
Milner 21+23
Gerrard 38+1
Henderson 38+2
Lallana 39+3
Barkley 29+9
Oxlade-Chamberlain 12+8
Wilshire 28+6

Sterling 27+11
Sturridge 30+3
Welbeck 24+12
Rooney 37+3
Lambert 33+6

England have played an additional 8 games on top of these so far this season and have a minimum of another 6 games (hopefully a lot more!)

Looking a those totals it doesnt seem so bad....usually a bit higher for the players at the top clubs, latter stages of the CL, good domestic cup runs, the liverpool players had none of those extra european games and didnt do well in the cups as with the southampton lads. In previous tournaments we have bemoaned the fact that our boys have played too much football...not sure thats the case this time round
