Who do you hate the most?

Mansfield. They beat us 2-1 in the FA Cup fourth round in the late sixties. Complete travesty. Billy Best had perfectly good goal disallowed. Then they drew Wet Spam at home and won 3-0. Should have been us. Hate them.

Manure, without having to think about. Its my northern roots showing!

W**k Ham are a close second, although I don't like many, if any, London clubs, unless they're playing Manure!

It can change over the years as well. I used to hate Villa, Arsenal (cos of Spurs sympathies) and West Ham, but none of them really bother me one way or the other any more. Mind you I'm developing a hatred for Real Madrid simply because they think they have a Devine right to sign anyone for any amount regardless of whether they have the money or not. They just seem to spout any figure that will get the deal done & worry about actually paying for it after the event. Why is that allowed?

Think i have to agree with ROB1920 about Real Madrid. But off all the English clubs what Birmingham and Fry did to us those many years back still makes the hair on my back stand up.Otherwise have no hatred of any other team.

The west ham club shop doesn't really bother me, don't think it will be turning any Southend fans into West Ham ones or influencing kids too much. The real worry is them moving to Stratford and there being affordable premiership football just 20 odd minutes away on the train, still find it hard to have any animostity towards them as whenever I encounter their fans when we are both on away days at motorway services etc they are always interested in how we are doing and want us to do well.

Wet Spam. Simples. They may not be competitive opposition at our level but their blight spreads into our homeland. Their arrogance is hard to stomach perpetually banging on about winning the 66 World Cup but actually have hardly won anything. If they even recognise our existence the local Spammers are also very patronising towards us.

Try having it two minutes away on the train...

Of course the real answer to this poll is Franchise, although they're not a football club so I'm not sure they count.

Yeah I don't really care about you lot though

Will it make a big difference to you lot? I'd have thought they are close and accessible enough for your catchment anyway regardless of the move.

I'd put franchise a close 2nd to Col U, perhaps because I'm in Chelmsford and equidistant between Southend and Colchester I see a lot of their inbred shirts and car stickers about. I really dislike them

The problem is that the OS will give them a huge overlay in excess capacity which they'll be able to fill by hovering up every keen youngster for four boroughs, including Waltham Forest. By being at Stratford, they'll also instantly increase their accessibility via public transport by tenfold.

The potential effect on Orient is, essentially, unproven as the none of the FA, FL, Premier League, LLDC/OPLC or Government have bothered to conduct an impact study before waving through West Ham's relocation. Plus, considering Hearn's recent appearance at the House of Lords, even the Armageddon scenario of a ground share with those sluts is now a possibility. Pity we keep winning games, as it's distracting from the serious long-term issues the club has.

ps. I live very close to Colchester these days but can go for months at a time without seeing a Ewes shirt. Then again, they only took 400 to Sheffield United recently, so it's no surprise. Pathetically-supported club.

Col Ewe of course.

Really dislike Liverpool too, due to so many people my age being glory hunters and supporting them. I know that includes a few guys on here - nothing personal lads, I just hope they get relegated this season.

Goes without saying that MK Dons are an utter abomination.

Perhaps I take particular notice when I spot them as my dislike for Col Ewe is so strong. I'm guessing West Ham would win a poll like this on your message boards by miles then?
