Clearly I'm a fool then because I'd pick the Wembley vision too, it's one of those things that is unlikely to happen many times in your lifetime supporting a club like ours, and I've done both FA Cup 4th round ties and promotion several times with the Blues.

Wembley would be great, but its likely to be against a league one side and we would get beaten.

Getting beaten at Wembley isnt as good as winning promotion for me. To be honest Id be hard pushed to choose winning at Wembley in the JPT over promotion either.

Now if its winning the FA Cup, I would settle for that

although with this assumption next season we would be getting beaten every week!

I went for Wembley after much deliberation, promotion can wait for one more season for me just to see SUFC at Wembley.

Also if we didn't go up this year we will get the chance of getting 6pts and the satisfaction of stuffing our "dear friends" from up the A12 next year when they get relegated.

Got to be promotion, next season in League 2 it will be very Northern.

Likely to be promoted from the Conf
Grimsby, Wrexham, Newport, Forest Green

Likely to be relegated from Lg1
Bury, Scunny, Hartlepool, Pompey (maybe Col Ewe)

Where do you get that figure from?

We would be looking at around £125k from TV revenue, and even if 70,000 tickets are sold, they won't be sold at £40 a go and more like £25. Total revenue being around £1.75m, less the £200k match day expenses and we get 45% (FA get 10% IIRC) of the rest. Take VAT off that and we are left with over £550,000 which would still be a very handy amount to have!

I looked at the Manu website before posting , capacity is 74,000, ticket prices for FA cup are the same as league (details on their website) average price is £40 per ticket, not £25. Round it .up £3 million  You are correct on the 45% not 50% as I thought. Tax is irrelevant as my post was in response to another post which did not include tax. Plus the TV money plus my 'dream world' we beat Manu (another £90,000) and potentially will be on the TV again- which really would be a given

I love this post and the answers, seriuosly i believe 2 out od the 3 is possible, not sure we will defeat brentford this time around ,but has anyone considered that maybe , just maybe ,you could all being going to WEMBLEYYYYYYYYYY , twice this season,JPT final AND THROUGH THE PLAYOFFS, now thats a dream to behold!!!!
:omg::smile::happy::loyalsupporter:

Sorry fogot to add my choice ,PROMOTION alwayswhether it be through the playoffs or automatic
.But this time we dont get relegated lol.

Dartford are just outside the play-offs and if we stayed down I'd love to see them come up.

Looking at the teams that could go up this year, there's a few northern teams and Southern. Gillingham, Cheltenham, Exeter all Southern. Rest Northern.

Promotion, would be nice to have a good cup run, but the most important thing is getting our club into a league we should be in. League 2 is horrible.

I wonder if we could all vote again , if more than just the 1% would go for big cup draw .....now the Chelsea game is lined up

Not me.

If it was a choice now between Chelsea at home, or promotion Id 100% take promotion.

Chelsea is 90 minutes, promotion is a year at the very least of better games.

What about beating Chelsea at home? I'm 100% for promotion, but it'd be tempting to switch for that

Still rather go up.

Funnily enough drawing at home would be more attractive as it would make us a lot of money, but even then Id think getting promoted would earn more in the long run.
