The Axe.I look around the squad and wonder who would be part of a title winning team/squad. I wouldn’t be sad to lose 90% tbh.
Agreed.I look around the squad and wonder who would be part of a title winning team/squad. I wouldn’t be sad to lose 90% tbh.
Not at all. It's interesting to see peoples views on who they feel is deserving of a shirt next season. Most of the squad are under contract so it’s all very hypothetical. Aka a waste of precious time
Not really. Players can be sent on season long loans, or unofficially told they probably wont get many minutes and therefore seek a transfer. Most of the squad are under contract so it’s all very hypothetical. Aka a waste of precious time
This really gets to the heart of the problem right now. We need to find that serial winner, probably in the midfield where they can lead effectively.I don't see many if any leaders, warriors, change the gamers or enforcers.
I don't see many if any leaders, warriors, change the gamers or enforcers. The type successful teams of ours have been built around in the past. I hope COSU address this early doors upon the seasons conclusion and make me and thousands of others want to part with my £400+ for a season card again.
I'm one of those that doesn't think we're far away with squad to a significantly better points total. Arguably only a few key positions - mainly upfront could make all the difference. Better players coming in can up the game of players around them, hence wholesale changes imho aren't needed.Agreed.
I'm surprised some say we don't need wholesale changes and we aren't far off having a good side. I think that's exactly what we need unfortunately. We need to be as ruthless as possible this summer. I'd bin off at least 10 of them If we could. No more sentiment, no more ex-players coming back. I'm praying COSU can find a way to "mutually agree" the termination of some contracts. A large number of them look gone mentally let alone ability wise. Time to say Thanks and clear the decks, or we will be stuck here forever, with attendances sliding rapidly.
Is there anyone with some spare time who can put up a chart of players contract lengths?! Cheers
Kendalls the only forward i chose to keep, and that would be as a good 4th choice striker whose energy could be effective as a 2nd half sub.Bridge, Husin Miley Walker and Kendall
Only after the voting did i see the results and realise about Wood and Waldron. In my mind they have already left.
I'm in the minority with Kendall. I think we can get upgrades on him and Walker. Neither have cut the mustard.
Bonne and to a lesser extend Hopper have good hold up play and can be hopefully used as the Fortuné father figure for a couple of strikers that come in.
I can't see too much upheaval though as it costs money to cancel contracts etc and I can't really see many clubs coming in for our players except maybe Gus or Leon
