Did I p*ss myself as well.... what a great night then!! Dont remember chundering at all. not saying I didnt but I just dont remember but I will bow to your superior knowledge. The worst thing about it was the large doner I woffed down outside the station, I do remember asking for extra chilli sauce and I dont even like chilli. What makes people do that, I mean I dont do kebabs at all but kronenberg has that munchie affect.

Dont worry about it Winkle, could have had happened to any of us, I lost a shoe on the way home last night.
After treading in a dogs egg , I decided to take the offending shoe off and inspect the damage which was quite severe.
It seemed reasonable to me at the time that the best course of action would be to hop the remaining 100 yards or so home, leave the shoe outside my front door and deal with it in the morning.
I couldnt believe it this morning when I went outside to discover it had gone.
What kind of thief nicks one shoe with dog sh!t on it?
I was in a hurry for work, so put my spare pair on and went off leaving Mrs C
with task of reporting this to the police, which she has steadfastly refused to do.

I sat down on the train, stuck the Ipod on, closed my eyes and next thing I know I'm at Leigh. I love journeys like that.

Incidentally, folks, just as an update, I've chatted to the boy Scriv and I will today send a cheque to the Club Shop for £50 so that they can set up a tab for Matt Woollard, the injured Southend fan, in the club shop for him to spend on whatever he likes.

I've asked Dave to get in touch with Matt Woollard so that Matt knows about the money he has got to spend in the club shop, and we should all nag Dave to put a story up on the official website so that Matt knows that it was the ShrimperZone faithful who raised the money for him.

Ah....didn't help that in my slightly dodgy condition I tried to get on the last carriage only to be told that it was just the first four by some kind soul. Would have damn well made it otherwise!
