If it’s all now agreed (and please let it be) I’d say it’s unlikely to be announced tonight.

I would have said Monday morning is more likely than the weekend (particularly if we’re talking completion rather than exchange) but if news is already leaking out that may force their hand to go sooner.

The most likely time this weekend would be c10am Saturday IMO.

Maybe the delays are so they can stock the Shrimpers and Far Post Bars. Between that news and an England win tomorrow it may take some time to obtain suitable quantities of stock.

The thing is leaving it until Monday now the embargo is clear just allows speculation and rumour mills to go mad. Best to give us the good news before the weekend than on Monday IMO

The embargo would only be lifted if the million was paid or the NL was satisfied that the sale was done. They haven’t paid the million, and I don’t think the league would be satisfied with anything less than 100% wallop.
