Question What is making you happy today?

Word has decided to work on my laptop and my NaNoWriMo piece is currently sitting pretty at just about 2,500 words. Ideally that'd be 5k, but if it's that much by the end of the week I'll be very happy.

Just got a letter from the CSA saying I don't have to pay anymore and that the payments should had stopped over a year ago. Will have to wait around 8 weeks to get a repayment but as I had no arrears I think in looking 14 months repayment at £245 a month which is £3430.
Also this means I have no excuses not to get married after the worlds longest engagement.

I share your joy! They were taking £497 a month from me in 1996!

Presuming that money has already been passed to your ex, who is it that makes the repayment to you then?

Bet she gets away without paying it back, the money will be paid back by the public purse.

You assume it is going to be repaid......

....she wont repay it. She'll be too ill or fall down the stairs or get stung by a wasp or catch Eboli or sqweem and sqweem until she is sick. And she'll outlive all of us.

The rain abated and the fireworks were fab. Better than some crummy back garden affair even if it is my council tax going up in smoke.

The artic driver who managed to do a perfect 360 turn in the yellow box junction on Kensal Rise. Totally illegal but still, very impressive.

Learning that The Zombies are playing here again in a fortnight's time.Saw their last gig here,a few years ago now, which was great.Well up for this.
