Question What is making you happy today?

Nicking off work early to watch the kids in their Christmas play today.

Working from home this morning, and also seeing my youngest in his nursery play, followed by my eldest in his school play this evening.

Oh, and a national speed awareness course this afternoon!

Someone been a bit naughty? :winking:

Only slightly. 36 in a 30. My wife has been laughing about it for weeks now because I drive like a big girls blouse and never speed. It was a Sunday morning and I was playing golf. The wind was so bad the course was deemed unsafe so we were all called in. I went home, and on my way I managed to misread the speedo. Thought I was doing 30, but it was actually nearer 40 so I braked, but left it too late. At least the camera got my good side: my arse!

(I mis-read my speedo because I had just bought a new car and was still adjusting to the differences between it and my old car, and got distracted. Crap reason I know, but it happens to be true. Never mind.)

6 car gap between cars and 12 versions of the Highway Code, just incase they ask. However you do get to keep the pens, which I found quite amusing when I was filling in receipts to customers in my taxi.

Got my taxi meter working again today, 2 days in December without work is a nightmare. The only saving grace was that one of them was my birthday.

No excuse really

Watched my kids Christmas play and my daughter was the lead role! So proud of her.

On my way home to pack then later to airport. Flight leaves in 5-1/2 hours. 3 weeks in Blighty! Working for 3 days in London office then holidays.

When is say pack I mean I sit there and tell the maid what to pack and when I say work I might do a couple of hours per day. 1 hour of that will be catching up on overnight emails from Asia, probably done before I get off train.

****! Train! I'll save that for the other thread next week :'( oh and should I pack shorts and t-shirt or dig deeper into my wardrobe?

You'll be fine ORM, its boiling over here at the moment.

If you get off the plane in any more than shorts, vest and flip flops you'll look daft.
