Question What is making you happy today?

Private car park company has dropped all its fines against me after I finally got through to a human to prove I was allowed to park for free on the site they acquired.

They were probably hoping I would just pay them, it was nearly impossible to find a way to contact an actual employee of the company.

The sum was over £400 🤯

The managing agents of the block of flats i reside in, recently hired NPC to ensure no one without a permit illegally parked there.
Despite having a legitimate permit, & having parked in the same place for 23 years, i received 5 parking fines in the 1st month FFS!.
Got them all rescinded but time consuming & unnecessary, total breakdown in communication between managing agent & NPC, surprise surprise!.

You'll be pleased to know coincidentally that NCP were hired for this car park too. Shocking company, no direct line to contact them either.

I went directly to the managing agents, as had no faith in trying to contact a 'human being' at NPC. To their credit, they called their 'contact' at NPC ( not NCP but guess they work the same way ) the same day.

There has been well attended organised events at Priory Park over the weekend. Friday was Ibiza Orchestra, and Saturday Cider and Sausage with tribute acts. This morning, at just after 7am the place was half dismantled and being sorted for going. And the park was mainly litter and debris free. The workers must have been " on it" right from the end of the public pay gig. This sort of thing, when well run, like the circus a few weeks ago, is, imo, most welcome for the City.

Plug for my friends company who is running an event soon...
