I left my train season ticket and oyster card on the train home last night. (That bit should be in the "What is hacking you off..." thread.)

However, I went to the station this morning and was issued a new season ticket in 5 minutes. The best bit was that the guy in the ticket office took a photocopy of my driving license and cut out the photo and used that in my new photo card. He did that to save me having to waste time and money getting a new photo done. I am often slagging off FCC, but this time they have been excellent.

When I got into the office this morning I rang TfL. They cancelled the oyster card straight away and are sending me a new one, with my balance and auto top up already transferred.

Well done both companies. I had a feeling this would be a disaster, but it's actually been pain free and very quick.

Well its not the cold I had all over the bank holiday, the miserable weather to come back to work for, the prospect of having to travel to Oxford tomorrow for work, thats for sure.
It might however be I have 3 more days until I fly to Florida though....
