Question What is making you happy today?

What a smashing late October day! shorts weather!
...........

Sure was, I had my 'cut down' Levi's on again, but probably for the last time this year, if the expected 'Northerly' kicks in!.
Drove back to leigh from Shoebury along the seafront around 3pm, sea was as smooth as glass, sun shining & a definite 'bonus' day for the time of year.

I have thought, just a few times, that alongside real ales etc at Tap Room style premises they could sell a limited and changing roll of bottled Belgium beers. There are 100s to choose from and having 1 or 2 every now and then is, imo, a good thing.

There is just shy of 1600 bottled beers. Some of them are purely designed to drop you flat on your back with one glass. Those trappest monks knock out some of most evil brews known to man. I reckon a small place could make a go of flogging Belguim beer.

Our 5th wedding anniversary today, we're off to Windsor for the day - lunch boat cruise then a stay in a nice hotel. A very rare weekend off work for hubby.

I had a glass of 14% stout in the US recently.

I also have a certificate for drinking a pint of 19% 'Roger and out' beer which at the time was the strongest in the world.

Are they so short that the pockets hang below the hemline?

Asking for a friend.

Went to Gent, didn't like it so turned north and went to Holland instead. Ended up in Braga, very nice. Came back, the boys have won at Walsall, England U17's are World Champions, the kids and wife are all knackered and I'm about to have my first slurp of Belguim beer of the evening. The only thing not enjoying this weekend is my bank balance. It will get over it.

And they have just turned the telly on and Andelect are playing. Second scored by a ringer of a old friend of ours. He used to have a pineapple on his head.

I want to open a bar in the Southend area serving Belguim beer. Have spent a wonderful weekend here in Brugge drinking some fantastic beers and think there is a market for it. I also need help with rehab so if anybody out there can help with either, please pm me. The rehab first might be the way forward, one's head is slightly squiffy at the moment.

Lucky you didn't end up in Sluis with the family in tow.

Can't help with the rehab but I'll be your friend forever if you set up and sell Chimay. As a matter of interest, there is a Belgium beer bar in Norwich which is always packed out.

My daughter is doing an "all about me" tomorrow at school, where she talks about her family, activities etc, and this image is going smack bang in the middle of the page (and I absolutely did not cajole her in this!)

Just back from two weeks' holiday in Florida. I know you've all missed me. Loads of fun.

Would love to go back, I know I'm lucky to have been twice, but I absolutely loved it out there. Much changed since you last went?
