Question What is making you happy today?

Had a call back on a job I interviewed for last week, been offered the job, going in on Thursday to meet the director and sort the minor details out, based in Chelmsford rather than London, so no more trains!!!!! big step up for me as its a management role and definitely a step in the right direction for family life!

Congratulations...

Shoeburyness to Chelmsford

A journey I did for 6 years , should be a lot easier these days with the New A130 ....

I can't wait, travelling in the comfort of my own car too! and the financial gain is most definitely an added bonus for the missus anyway as I am sure she is already spending it!

The good thing about changing jobs is that you can be a little bit more honest and straight talking.

There's a guy at my work who is an absolute bellend. I got in this morning and held the door open to him as he walked towards me down the corridor. Walked straight past without acknowledging me. Took the opportunity to shout 'so rude' at him.

Feel much better now, compared to my usual approach of complete silence and fuming about it for hours.

People like that respect strength, not snide comments.

Next time dispense a severe beating.
