THE ROCK GOD
It's Friday tomorrow!
Maybe not 'happy' but I am amused by the chap in our office who has just moved to London from Tel-Aviv.
He seems genuinely shocked and disgusted that he can't get a really nice place in Zone 1 for reasonable money. I feel like he should maybe have done some research before committing to the move...
haha. to be fair, you can get pretty central places in Paris and Berlin for sensible money (maybe 50% less). London is ****ing mental and I doubt he's the first foreigner to be caught out.
Pretty much what we've all said to him today - "Mate, London is ****ing nuts. Good luck"
He got a tube map up on his monitor and asked where I live. I pointed to a spot about two feet above the screen.

Figures suggest London's population has increased from 7 million to 8m (probably more) in the last decade. They further predict a rise to 10m in the next 15 to 20 years. How will you describe London in 2035.
"A great city. And even more nuts than it was 20 years ago."

Me and the missus are in the process of looking for another place in the New Cross Gate/Ladywell/Blackheath triangle and can't find much for less than £1300pcm.
Move to MK, could rent a 5 bedroom mansion for that :winking:
