As soon as he made the foul I thought that he was going to go for it. He'd just picked up a silly caution and needed to watch himself. The problem was that the initial yellow for dissent had come about due to a mounting sense of injustice on our part as the referee seemed completely unwilling to give us any decision.
Cheers there Beefy. I can see why he'd get annoyed, but would still expect better.
Thing that gets me is this isn't the first shocker that ref's had. Surely the management would've been aware of his tendancies and told the players about it. There's no point getting wound up if you know the ref is prone to mistakes AND card-happy.
