Ordered a very nice box of Betty's fondant fancies for Secret Santa at work, which we're doing on Monday. They've arrived today with a "best before" date of tomorrow! I'm pretty sure it won't bother my colleague, but it's not very good!

It's expensive enough from Victoria to Fenny anyway.

Last year after a Fulham v Brighton game in January, the district /circle line was out for repairs and I had to get a taxi.

Cost me about 25 notes IIRC, (and I do). :'(

Why?! The fact that their checkout operators have a 5p carrier bag ready to pack your shopping even before you get to the till! "Need a bag" they say eagerly!? I have a carrier bag - I always have a bag ! Are they on commission or something? Gets my goat!

Anyway I always pilfer my bags from the self service checkouts in Sainsbury's:-) Nothing more gratifying than packing my Tesco shopping in a 'hot' orange rival bag !!
