What have you watched on TV?

Watched all six episodes of The Tattooist of Auschwitz, a beautiful love storey amongst such horror, apparently 8200 SS guards worked(please forgive the word work) at the camp over the years it was in use and only 10% were ever convicted of there crimes, WTF.

I’m up to episode 5, what a moving story.Harrowing but filmed in a beautiful way Harvey Keitel what a great actor but then so is the whole cast who deserve accolades
Read the book and this just as good

Watched the rest of Clarksons Farm and also Baby Reindeer (finally) over the weekend.

Clarksons Farm was really heart warming and the very end had me in tears, when they were having their al fresco meal. While JC is undoubtedly the star of the show, it is his supporting cast members - Kaleb, Lisa, Charlie and Gerald who you take to your hearts.

Baby Reindeer, well, I have yet to see the Piers Morgan interview, but I think "Martha" has been vilified a little too thoroughly, she clearly had mental health issues. "Donny" undoubtedly made some mistakes along the way which gave her reason to act, though, of course, things went too extreme. And why did he go back to Darrien in the last episode?

Just finished this morning, what a series and the final ending with the real person talking just made the tears flow even more
Best series I have seen in years. Had to watch an episode a day as at times found it hard to take as harrowing and yet a love story can come out of misery
10/10

Micro Live from 1984.

I have discovered that I am drawn to Lesley Judd and the wife of Brian Jacks.

If he is reading this I reckon I could take him these days.

Baby Reindeer was a tough watch, especially episode 4. I don't know how people binged it in a sitting or two, I needed something light-hearted on standby to take the edge off.

I have been enjoying Race Across The World as this season has been SE Asia centric, Thailand featured in 3 episodes.

I've also been binging Hotel Fortune - pretty trashy gameshow which is an elaborate version of carrot in the box, hosted by Stephen Mangan, who I guess was rewarded with a big case of money too.

Just finished the second series of Tokio Vice currently being shown on the BBC also on iplayer intriguing insite into the Japanese Mafia known as Yakuza

I finished watching The Tattooist of Auschwitz the other day. Had me in tears. Exceptionally filmed, heartbreaking and harrowing in every episode but still a beautiful love story.

  Spoiler:

Baretzi was an interesting one because without his help, Lali and Gita would not have been able to have any kind of relationship so I understood why Lali was so confused and torn when the war crimes team tracked him down.

There was a 7th episode where they talked to the actors and those behind the making of it, recommend watching. Again, the young German actor who played Baretzi, was interesting to hear speak on this all.

Would have agreed with spoiler until you listen to Gita version and have to think justice was not delivered to Baretzi imho
Can see both sides of the conflict, but cannot feel sorry for Batetzi though actor was brilliant
Didn’t know episode 7 will have to watch tomorrow

I am a massive computer geek and have been watching old editions of the BBCs Micro Live from the early 80s.

Not only is it really interesting but I have seen an article about how my ex employer Reuters got into electronic financial services.

I have also discovered that I fancy Leslie Judd and Brian Jacks’ wife. By coincidence he tried to chat up my wife before I met her so it is funny how these things come full circle.

He must be in his 70s now so I reckon I could take him as well.

Also starred 80s icon Fred Harris who was a big part of my childhood. They show up on Twitch sometimes here along with a bunch of other very interesting shows from back in the day -

As a computer geek, have you watched Halt & Catch Fire? I've just finished off series 2, really liking this show. It's on Channel 4 demand.
