What have you watched on TV?

Watched the documentary about Angel Lynn a young lady who was snatched by her on off boyfriend and ended up coming out of a van at 60mph with catastrophic brain injuries. She is in a terrible state and the man responsible will probably only spend 6 years in custody and that was after an appeal as original sentence was 7.5 years

Quite enjoyed the Macca tribute and Liverpool groups special on BBC4 last night and in the early hours.Obviously Eurovision has been good for something. :Winking:

Watched the timeless Suzi Quattro on a music show on cable. Now an Essex girl for many years. She is on tour later this year with a concert at the London Palladium in November. Her TV show was called "rock wild ones".
Started with her (40years ago) singing her version of Wild One.
A few artists later she had Bod Dylan and he did "tangled up in blue" which, imo, is not his best, or top 5, writing or song.

I've started watching Silo, apple TV series about a dystopion future where everyone lives in a silo due to the earths atmosphere being toxic. How it got that way they don't know, a lot of unanswered questions from generations passed that I have a feeling are slowly going to get answered. Quite good so far

Quite enjoyed the 60's girl stuff on BBC4 last night (programmes on Cilla,Dusty and Lulu but rather mystified to see there was nothing on Tina Turner.Somebody missed a trick. :Dunce:

Series 3 of Ted Lasso, still good but not quite up with 1 and 2 imo.
Some characters have been developed but not with much 'punch", too much soft americano soap comedy style - which probably what the producers wanted for global audiences and sales.

Love this scene from The Sopranos. Chrissy who can be a loose cannon, being warned by a bigger loose cannon, Lol, who has just come out of prison. The actor who played Richie Aprile did a superb job. He was menacing and believable. One of the very best characters on the show.

David Proval originally auditioned for the part of Tony Soprano.

Fantastic actor but he wouldn't have been right for Tony.

He was the most intimidating character in the show though.
