C C Csiders

Life President
Following on from some of the recent debates, of the above what best describes your SZ 'Pub' persona?

My views are usually right wing but I always vote red

On Shrimperzone I'd probably be considered dangerously left wing, whilst amongst certain of my non-footballing friends I'm considered dangerously right wing.

The truth is as always somewhere in the middle. However for the purposes of this poll I think independent sums up my views quiet well, as I like to come up with my own opinions and beliefs.

I was once told,
If you are not a socialist when you are 21 then there is something wrong with your heart,

If you are not a capitalist by the time you are 40 then there is something wrong with your head...or you simply 'aint earning enough.

See! Told you.

It's us Marxists who are out-numbered. But, as I mentioned, we've got the best drugs, the best birds and the best music...

My politics are right wing with a leaning to the 'Told you this would happen years ago' brigade.

A member of the Smug Git Party if you like.

Independent. Wouldn't trust ANY politician as far as I could throw one. Sycophantic, lying, overpaid, corrupt, jumped up bunch of to$$ers. I wouldn't pi$$ on one if he/she was on fire.

I've been in the audience for Question Time in London twice and you wouldn't believe the crap that goes on behind the scenes. All the panelists ARE forewarned about the questions, regardless of what the BBC states. The questions are carefully vetted so as NOT to make it to uncomfortable for some of the higher profile guests. I walked out of the last one during filming because of inept way in which certain guests were allowed to avoid answering the question put to them.
Question time my arse:angry: Get your face on TV and talk bollix more like. Just another case of the BBC pandering to the establishment and it's lobbyists.

Christ, you got me started now!

And...........................breath!!!!!!

I don't vote, I don't trust politicians and the political system in this country stinks. How the hell so much parliamentary time can be wasted on fox-hunting with the state of international affairs, immigration etc will baffle me until I die.

It shouldn't be too hard for you to work out which side of the centre line my views lie though. I make no apologies for the following statements.

Women should be at home looking after the kids, not taking mens jobs.

Poofs and lesbians should NOT be allowed to marry, adopt kids, have kids by IVF etc.

All forms of religion should be banned immediately.

I'm sick and tired of political correctness and minority group rights. I am proud to be a white, hetrosexual Englishman but I don't feel the need to thrust that in everyone else's face. I'm the one being oppressed but I'm not allowed to protest about it.

Mods - is that sort of stuff allowed here? Just asking because to me, even in jest, that statement is equal to racism in the offensive stakes. It might as well read "niggers and pakis shouldn't have any human rights in this country". OK, so I doubt there are many (if any) gay/lesbian members of SZ to be offended but should that matter?

If only some of the current MPs would have the courage of their own convictions. The Party Whip system stinks !
