Question What are you reading?

Just started Dennis Skinner's "Reminiscences," Sailing Close to the Wind.Looks a good read.

Certainly my vote for the greatest living Yorkshireman would go to him (along with the sublime Alan Bennett).

The "Beast" was on the Jeremy Vine show on Monday I think - love him or not was an entertaining interview- going over some of his highlights in the house.

Just finished David Sedaris' 'Let's Explore Diabetes With Owls' a collection of essays & short stories, Mrs Drastic is a fan. I didn't really find him that funny but there were a few stories I liked.

Going to start George RR Martin's 'A Clash of Kings'.

Dug out this old beauty from the loft earlier in the week.

The Guts was good by the way. As mentioned previously, the end bit, at the festival, is an absolute hoot. I wonder if Doyle will return to the Rabbittes again a few years from now.

Enjoying The Nowhere Men by Michael Calvin. The story of football's scouts.Someone else gave it a good review on here recently(sorry can't rememember who).
The Fish House gets a good write up, as does our floodlit match with Cheltenham a few seasons back,(Freddy's return game). There´s also a nice interview with Dean Austen and quite a few other ex-Blues get a mention too.

Per my latest fad the NFL, now reading The GM by Tom Callahan.

Decent insight into football management over the pond.

Didnt realise it was out, will have to grab it.

Last one was disappointing so hope this one is better.
It's a good read. I've been a fan since his first one but thought about leaving this alone as Reacher was becoming a bit to Schwarzenegger recently.

They do get a bit repetitive and predictbale, but they are an easy read for the train.

And he elbows people in the face. Pow, right in the kisser!

Just finished "Arthur Quinn & The World Serpent" - by Alan Early - A kids book lent to me one of me lads.
Now back into the more familiar world of Murder/Mayhem with Glasgow Kiss by Alex Grey.
