What are you listening to?

Yes, Magic Numbers out on Monday. Will be better than Coldplay.
As no-one replied to my message a few days ago...I'm going to be selfish and tell you all to buy 'Exits' by The Boxer Rebellion. Mainly cos I play drums in them. It came out May 2nd.

(From here on in )
Bloody hell.  That's one from the memories for me,

First festival I ever went to was Leeds some years back and the first band I saw at a festival on about the second slot was the Living End.  Hadn't heard anything about them since!
Still recording, still touring, not much over here but all round Aus.
They are still getting Awards over there too.

As for the memories bits, they are one of my more recents bands !! (Ordinary boys being the other)

Otherwise its all The Alarm, Clash, Jam, SLF, Chords etc etc
Found the Starjets CD on the net the other week (probably right up Artfuls street ) so been giving that a play or two

Sons And Daughters - The Repulsion Box

Just discovered this band today, absolutely fecking fantastic...can't believe it's taken me this long. The most broad Scottish accent in a band since Bis (remember them?). Eccentric Boy/Girl vocal indie-pop which is by no means up everyone's street but the type of stuff I love.

The Coral's new album - Invisible Invasion. Also got the Funeral for a Friend and Foo Fighters new singles, and I want to get the Magic Numbers album.

So how can you say it is good.

The same way I could comment on the new Oasis, White Stripes and Magic Numbers albums before they were released?

Just 'discovered' that album - not my normal cup of tea but I'm really enjoying it. She's quite fit as well....

Ooh.

Magic Numbers, where did you get that?

I am listening to A Guy called Gerald.

Oooh Oooh Oooh

Aaah Aaah Aaah hey.........

a bit of Pacific 808

a bit of Inner city

and a bit of Corporation of one.

and wearing a lilac explosive fibres tracksuit and a pair of red kicker boots.

I know Editors album is good cos I've known them for ages and played with them heaps of times. Have their old demos too.
And We are Scientists gave me some old demo disc when they were over from the States. Also pretty good. Nice guys. Weird dress sense.
Editors win it though.

a) Likely to get a bad response from the GNR-haters

b) I wish to god there'd be no doubt but I fear there will.
