It's alright that. Dr Dre's got a new one out which is supposed to be decent as well.

yeah it is I signed up for the free Apple Music trial so I could get hold of it. Not perfect, but much better than I feared it'd be.

The opening 4/5 tracks on Compton are ridiculously good, but the album does sag a bit.

Im amazed that a 50 year old billionaire can still bring out decent stuff. :winking:

The strength of the album is the quality of co-rappers and producers that he works with. Eminem aside, the production and delivery is great. Obviously Kendrick stands out but the tracks produced by DJ Dahi are brilliant, and I didn't know much about Anderson .Paak but he brings a huge amount to the tracks he's on.

Even Dre's ghostwriters give Dre some decent verses to run with, and being a 50 year old billionaire actually gives him an interesting perspective above the usual bitches and bling topics of much of modern commercial hiphop

Shame he doesn't work with the DOC anymore though. He was responsible for a lot of Dre and NWA's sound/lyrics.
