Great singer, great band. Shame they're mostly known for a few glam-pop hits and that Xmas song. Dig a little deeper and there's some really classy stuff in their back catalogue.

I remember Pete Townsend saying in the early 80s , that Slade were the only band that could rock the foundations of Wembley Stadium . Great band , Great songs .
