You might want to check out Chucho Valdes excellent JazzCuba Volume I or almost anything from the Cuban group Irakere (which Chucho was in with his Dad Bebo).Paquito D'Rivera is also a class act.

Check out the AfroCubism album (various artists) for some brillant fusion music produced by Nick Gold (a teacher mate of mine actually met up with him in Sudan).

Thanks I can't see Youtube at work - I purchased the AfroCubism CD yesterday, caught a couple of tracks on the way into work which were great and when I get a chance I shall stick it back on.
