Lazy Lester. The subject of next week's Paul Jones show.
When I saw him live here(a few years ago now)I asked for this particular number(his best known track) he said he'd play it for 20 euros!
I thought that was a bit off as a)I didn't have 20 euros on me at the time b)he played it anyway as his last number.

The Bryan Ferry Orchestra. The Jazz Age.
Hugely enjoyable(for anyone who likes 1920's Jazz that is).

"Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton...

One of my favorite...the beauty of this song is in its romantic simplicity...love it!!!

McHouston(aka Mickey)Baker.Mississippi Delta Blues.(Whisper it)but this is a jazz treatment of Blues classics.Rather good(though not for purists).

The mini-album by Errors - New Relics

Paul McCartney & Nirvana not playing a Nirvana song or a Beatles song but a new song "Cut Me Some Slack" at Hurricane Sandy Concert last night. It's actually quite good.

Not bad - far better than McCartneys usual tosh - by the way does anyone know what he was playing - looks like a four string resonator to me ?

(You'll probably remember Graham Butler from my 50th bash.He makes his own box guitars these days.Diddley bow indeed).
