Geogie Fame's new cd Lost in a lover's dream.Britain's best jazz player/singer by a mile.I remember the first time I saw him with Van Morrison at a Womad concert here in June 1984.Awesome.

Ha!Although good,they weren't a patch on Chuck Berry when I saw them on the same bill at Lanchester(this was where the infamous live recording of My Ding a Ling was made).

Phil Lamble(and not Lambert)seen here playing(he's the guy in the green top) with the Barnyard Boys, outside Sagrada Familia, (near the excellent Michael Collins Irish pub).
He supported Billy Bragg with the BB's in a tour of (the then)Eastern European communist countries, back in the late 80's.
These days he's part of a folk duo called Rough Music.I'll be off to see them here on Saturday.
